Hyundai Motor Malaysia (HMY) has signed a Collaboration of Cooperation (CoC) with three respected academies - TVET MARA Masjid Tanah, SLC Auto Academy, and Despark International College (DSIC) - to support and uplift Malaysia’s next generation of automotive professionals.

Guided by Hyundai’s global vision of Progress for Humanity, this initiative underscores HMY’s long-term commitment to nurturing local talent and supporting the sustainable growth of Malaysia’s automotive industry. By investing in education, skills transfer, and future-ready technologies, HMY aims to play an active role in strengthening the nation’s automotive ecosystem for generations to come.

Empowering Through Education
The collaboration introduces a 3-day programme across five sessions in 2026, designed to give students and teachers hands-on exposure to the technologies shaping tomorrow’s mobility. The programme focuses on areas that are crucial to modern vehicle development and aftersales support.

 Aimed at equipping some 360 students and teacher participants with the relevant industry skills and knowledge to stay aligned with evolving trends, its topics include:
<Vehicular Network Communication & Advanced Body Electrical
<Advanced Driver-assistance System (ADAS)
<Hydrogen FCEV Future Mobility
<Eco-Friendly Vehicle Systems Safety and Repair

The collaboration strengthens industry engagement for TVET MARA Masjid Tanah, particularly in expertise sharing, latest automotive technology practices, and student placements in the field of Energy Efficient Vehicles (EEV). We believe this initiative will help equip students with industry-relevant skills while contributing to the development of skilled and competitive TVET graduates for Malaysia’s automotive industry,” said Mr Shabudin bin Said, Director of TVET MARA Masjid Tanah.
